Thigh and arm suspension

What is it?
Sagging skin and fat accumulation are sources of discomfort for many people, whether due to significant weight loss, bariatric surgery, genetic factors, or simply the natural aging process. Fortunately, surgical interventions are available to reshape these areas and provide a more defined and anatomically harmonious appearance.
This procedure aims to remove excess skin (sagging) through an incision in the groin crease towards the thigh, which can also be done on the arms, reducing excess skin.
How to prepare?
Before surgery, you may need to:
Undergo medical examinations and evaluations;
Quit smoking before surgery;
Adjust your current medications; avoid taking aspirin, anti-inflammatories, and natural medications, as they can increase bleeding.
Postoperative
In the case of the thigh, surgical glue may be applied over the incisions and the patient may be wrapped in a compression garment to minimize swelling and support the new contours as they heal;
On the arms, compression garments are used to minimize swelling;
A drain may be temporarily placed under the skin to drain any excess blood and fluid that may accumulate;
Rest (relative) for 14 days, final result from 3-6 months.
